Elephant Hill Winery

Elephant Hill Winery is an award winning building designed by Blair + Co Ltd. Incorporated into this design where the glass facade meets the grand soffit is a ribbon of louvre to provide both architectural screening and ventilation. Louvre doors were also part of this design. Colt Products and Systems 2UL double bank louvre and 1UL single bank louvre were specified for their performance tested capabilities and seamless aesthetics.

Colt’s Universal Louvre not only provides excellent aerodynamic, and rain defence properties but it also utilizes a hidden mullion and clip system. This permits you to specify a louvre of any height or length without a single join visible. Furthermore to achieve maximum aerodynamics all sharp edges have been removed producing an architecturally pleasing soft linear aesthetic.
